Beverly Miller Orthwein
Since her early exposure to 17th century Dutch floral painting, Beverly Miller Orthwein has been passionate about botanicals. Twenty years later, after her BFA studies at Pratt and extensive travels to the Far East, she studied Oriental Brush Painting and traditional watercolor painting. Inspired in 2015 by artist Robert Kushner, she has incorporated antique texts, illustrations and collage to her current botanicals. Beverly has exhibited at the Hammond Art Museum, North Salem, NY, The Greenwich Garden Education Center, Greenwich, CT and has had a one woman exhibit at The Peck School, Morristown NJ.
